Congrats Buzz, have fun with her! :D

Yup I'm running them on mine and they're much better than the stock H6/B4 brakes. Although if I was running something as powerful as an STi motor, I'd be keen for some Brembos. Can never have too much braking performance IMO.

H6 brakes are plenty for a street car, especially if buzz is on a budget :D

180kph down the main straight of wakefield for multiple laps with an average speed of over 105kph and i wasn't able to make my 4p/2p combo fade.

good rotors for heat dissipation, good pads for stopping and braided lines (with some fluid that won't boil) is all you need.

They're more than fine on a gen2 with a EJ207 Shiv, although I'm not a maniac on the road so I guess brembos might be more suitable for some :P

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

This is true. I really don't spend much time thrashing it through the hills, so I haven't experienced any real shortcomings from the smaller 2 pots like heat fade etc. Nor have I tracked it, where the brembos would obviously come into their own...

Hiya y'all. Tought I'd drop in for an update. Got it registered last Monday. Did brakes on friday, DBA4000's (the new "clubspec T3" pattern  :sarcastic:) and Remsa pads (plan is they'll go on the foz when I saves enough kesh for brembo's and wheels/tyres). No pics cos phone and comp aren't getting along. Got some HEL braided lines (w/black covers) and a pl/back T/smart Kompact bov (also in black) coming in the next week or so. Also waiting on a new tune set from Chiptorque as they didn't have one on file for a JDM (we tried one they had for the AUDM but it didn't work (car wouldn't start)) so they're making one up which I'm expecting this week as well.

Just wondering what brake fluid are people using? Heard some good things bout penrite sin so was leaning toward that.

Anyways :drinks: .

Castrol Super Dot 4. 286 degree boiling point, didn't have any problems with it on the track.

$11 for 500ml at supercheap.

Well done Buzz, looks great.
Is Lachlan looking after you at Chiptorque?
As Tony Montana would say:
In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.
