Hey Guys, just wondering if any one here has an alternative to a K&N filter.

I went to the shop to get a replacement Ryco and was quoted $81 dollars, and $47 for a Wesfil.

I almost fell over...

many moons ago in my Gen2 i had a Drift filter that fit the standard box and was made of material, that i could wash when it needed.

I asked at the one decent shop that we have in town ( the other 3 are honestly useless...) and they had no idea about what other options i had...

i have had a bit of a look on the net, but i figured to go where i know i'd get some good answers

Cheers in advance guy

Jon :)

Ryco paper is what goes in mine every 10,000km. Costs about $8.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Ask Alex what happens when you pay for an expensive brand-name panel filter :P

where the hell do you get a ryco for 8bux??

i only went looking for a paper one... but at those prices i figured i may have got one that i could keep for a longer period of time... no interest in performance and or noise... purely maximising my dollar and its usages! :)
