Lowering on Stock Struts
Josh. 01 Nov 2011
Hi
Sorry about the novice question.
I am going to order some new springs from allpsrings this week and was wondering how far do you guys think i can lower my wagon on stock struts before it puts too much strain on components and starts to break things?
Thanks for your help

30mm is the old rule of thumb before you really need to get some shocks to suit lowered struts. Your ride quality and handling will thank you.
Good quality shocks are one of the most important facets of your car - I always spend more on time focusing on shocks than springs

ive gone 3.5 inch in the rear of my car and its riding on bump stops and the shocks bottom out on big bumps or uneven road so id say not that low haha go a happy 30mm as marv said, think king lows are around that.
