Is it possible? They look awfully similar to me.

Any info would be great.

Cheers,

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Yeah but the thread on top of the shaft is shorter for the gen4 hat.. So with the gen3 hat on you only get a few turns of the top nut stopping it coming apart.

Some people run it like that and have been ok, but its a risk you take.

Good to know gents. I suppose for future reference sake, is it possible to get a longer thread installed on the G4 struts?

Sourced some Gen3 ones anyways, but the above might be good info for those that ask pondering the same question.

Cheers,
Shazza
