Does anyone else buy real Christmas trees?

I've called/driven by 7-8 nurseries/fruit shops today and no one has them in stock :(

We've been away every weekend so haven't been able to get one yet...

Parents got one on the weekend,

we get them from a place just up the road, on the way to Nattai. Get to pick the tree and they cut it down for you.

Real trees are awesome!

Good speel for selling a car. Highlights include; LINK

This 4.8 Litre 8 seater monster power house 4x4 is not for the faint hearted. If you eat quiche, this car is not for you. If your wife makes quiche, get rid of the wife and swap her for this car. If your husband makes quiche...... oh dear.

This is definately the car for men who beat their chests at the full moon and women who drink VB then eat the can. No softies.

The interior is spotless. The kids either travel on the roof or strapped to bike rack, so there's no chocolate etc ground in to the carpet.

I like real trees too, but I think cutting one down each year for the sole purpose of decorating it then throwing it in the bin three weeks later to be a lot stupid.

Nik, that logic could be said for alot of things though...

Why do you make beer, only do drink it and pee it out later?

Or yum fancy foods.

Why make the bed every morning, its just going to get ruined the next night

Also, we burn ours!

They flame goodly!

None of those situations relate to cutting down a tree.

Not directly. But it's more the enjoyment you get out of the decorated tree....that's where I was heading with that one...

Was about 2 minutes late in seeing a guy on a motorbike getting wiped out by a car last night.

His bike was sitting in a pool of it's own fluids about 15-20 meters past where the guy was laying on the sidewalk.

They had only just pulled his helmet off so it was still fresh. He was alive but pretty unwell. Lucky there was already cars pulled over and people assiting.
