Worst thing about living where I live is that even though there is a fair amount of people in the area. I went to high school here, recognise atleast one person everytime I go for a drive, or to the local shops. Everyone knows everyone through someone else, and word travels quickly. It makes me more reserved than I probably should be. I became a bit of an outkast because I was a little more... intelligent.. than the people I hung out with. So I can see where rendog is coming from.

Don't rent a computer, we did that with a laptop once and it was f'd. Just build a cheap rig with slightly dated parts and enjoy life. Or buy a cheap $600 laptop which would have been top spec a year or two ago. I have a laptop too that is 5 years old now and it still runs like new, just had to get a new battery for it from chinaland.
