YES see where it is closest to the turbos there is two larger pipes facing up earlier ones only had one
and you cant plumb across boost wont work properly you might be able to block the one for earlier but that would still leave you with the wrong size turbo pipes
as they are different

I contacted the company early last year and enquired about making a silicon TT intake. AUDM B4 (VF32/33)
I then sent them a TT intake to make a up a mandrel/mould.
The prototype (total cost $350) was made and installed in my car.
They are now selling them on Ebay at a very good price.

They got back to me and only have rev.E which might also fit rev.D so anyways they have them in blue or black

I am going to order one soon if anyone else wants one let me know might get postage discount/group buy better price

When i have it will measure it up and we will see how many it can fit could be just a case of cutting the end off and using an adapter for other revs
although the primary pipe is very short

And what are your thoughts after installing it?

Correct me if I am wrong, but silicon doesn't crack as easily over time from heat exposure, if the stock one is regular rubber its possibly starting to crack/warp under pressure by now, causing leaks or restricted flow. Handy if you are chasing more power or pushing the car harder I suppose.

Nice to see someone out there cares for our TT beasties, I can apprieciate that alone :)

I had the intake made up to rule out possible intake restriction when running larger non standard turbos.
The unit is well made with significantly larger cross section diameter all the way through.
It is a tight fit when installing and is made up of two sections with an aluminium joiner.Clamps are required when installed to keep it together.
The two engine breather pipe returns require adapters (I used a plastic irrigation connector)
The other intake return ports for the BOV,SPRV and the two for the boost controllers are straight fit.

ording one asap now pulled my cooler off to clean it out and well not happy but may have solved pinging problem
the intake pipe where it meets the primary turbo is stuffed split and not sitting lined up with turbo
it appears after time these start to push out as they are both flared out towards the gaurds
primary is about 15mm out of line and secondary is about 7mm out

Nice, wish they had them 7 years ago.
It's ok I suppose but did they even investigate how they could improve flow dynamics or have they just coppied the original.
To me it appears that they may have been able to increase the pipe diameter between the turbos for less intake restriction.
Everyone that makes an under intake silicon intake for single turbo setups really improves on the diameter and it would be usefull to improve on the TT set up as well.

mmmmm well its not a straight fit you have to trim it down at the turbos cause it too long and some of the fittings require a bit of modification but i have it on
finish off tomorrow and let ya's know how it goes

looking at it compared to the stock unit i say it will be a great improvment as it is bigger diameter and it is round all the way thru and smooth

Please note these are only for rev.E primary 33 secondry 32 and it comes in two pieces hence the clamps which are supplied

Trimming is par for the course. In general I haven't found many that are direct fit without a little snip here and there.
With a set of dumps and decent exhaust there should be some reasonable gains to be found.
Nice induction noise with a pod too.

all done and tested no pinging(hot day will be the ultimate test) and idles perfectly
I flashed my ecu back up to the top one that was making car ping even when cold and no problems so far
I highly recomend it as a upgrade car is a lot more responsive now

Shouldnt be any difference at all. B4's through their life in Oz all used VF33/32. Under the bonnet they should be the same in D and E
