Congrats on the purchase mate!! Looks mighty tidy. How's she go as a direct comparison to the b4.
So...What's else has she got in the bag???
Its Slow!
The B4 was a street car i drove on the track. Whereas the Evo is a track car driven on the street.
They are Stiff, Raw and just an aggresive car to drive. Very easy to speed in!
I bought it in peices from a customer as it needed ALOT of work.
So over the past 2 months i have bought:
Kando Dynamics Evo9 Twin Scroll TD05HR- 20G turbo
GtPumps Dump pipe
TurboXS 3" stainless Exhaust
Stainless Tuned length extractors
All asocciated Gaskets, studs, nuts from head to muffler from Ralliart
Stainless turbo water and oil lines
Brembo sport slotted rotors
Project MU HC+ pads
Both Front wheel bearing hub assemblys
Braided brake lines
Also a good service of:
Engine oil,
Oil filter
Spark plugs
Fuel filter
Serpentine belt
Gearbox oil
Rear diff oil
Transfer case oil
Still have to buy some rear pads and rotors and use our new Pressure brake bleed machine that gives customers cars an unreal pedal feel, cant wait to give it a run with penrite racing SIN fluid in mine
Tomorrow or Friday the tank is coming out to do the fuel pump and also the rear diff to do more rear ralliart bushes
The car came with Apexi N1 damper pro coilovers and front and rear swaybars and a few gauges.
Fun times

Kinda hard to compare it to the monster that was the B4 to this.
How does this compare to say, a stocker STi of the era?
How are they to work on, in comparison to a Subaru?
/dabblingwiththedarkside
I had a good belting of an evo 7 stocker not too long ago. Jesus.... they're bloody good straight out of the box!

Best motoring did a review on all of the evos vs STis a few years ago (2002)
The Evos are Twin scroll, factory brembos, (AYC) Active yaw controlled. Factory FMIC. So your ahead already.
To work on... Subarus are easier, but i guess its because i know them back to front, obviously spark plugs and changing cams are easier.

I'm really curious how the fork an AWD gearbox works with a transverse engine.
I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.
It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

An evo will be my next car for sure, as soon as I get a real job haha. A mate used to have a relatively stock Evo 6 that hauled ass and stuck to the road like shit to a blanket.

I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

Speakers
Carbon wrapped my intake duct as the clear was coming off the paint.
Koni 8212 rear coilovers fitted, with old tein 6kg springs from my B4, springs are abit too short for these shocks.. But longer and stiffer ones will come soon.
Rear diff support bushes is a common failure on evos.. Heres mine
So getting it all ready to drive to sydney for the Subyclub cruise
