hey guys,


one of my wheels has some pretty bad gutter rash and after getting some quotes this is what ive got so far

- $330 for the one wheel to be resprayed in shadow chrome, or

- $340 for a set of 4 to be sandblasted and powercoated (possibly black, or flat grey with some new black wheel nuts), or

- leave as is and keep money for beers...

just thought id get your opinion on it.

Shaddow chrome i think. But thats just me. Little bit of shinny would be awesome while still having dark rims.

why not Silver with a Clear coat to give it a gloss look or go in and have a talk to them, there is like 3000+ colours, my wheels are going in tomorrow to get powdercoated

yeah i like the shadowchrome, its just im not how close to the original colour they will get it as i went to another place and the guy wanted to do all four to get them all looking the same.

im open to any colour at this point, i just thought the darker shades made it look a bit meaner. i might have to go in and have a talk to them.

yeah i reckon a carbon black or hyper black would look tough! maybe a dark graphite?

dark graphite is sounding pretty appealing. also is it worth just doing it myself when i find the colour? has anyone done it before and would have any tips?

i wanted a gen2 rx on 17x8 enkie rpf1 wheels in silver. u should ge them.

rpf1's are nice, but im trying to not to throw to much money at the car so i can head towards buying a new car for more turbo time

buy rpf1s and then buy a gtb front cut for turbo times.

ill drive round in the next day or two and work it all out, hopefully in time for the weekend so i can get a start on it
