You might actually get away with 225's also. depends how wide you want them I guess. 215's will be the best bet though.

Federal 595SS - $170pr tyre fitted. Grip well, have lasted me nearly 50k kms. They're 215/45/17r. Techworkz can supply them cheap too i think. They're located in the ACT?

they sound good but then theirs postage and getting them fitted and shit up here.

I'll stick with these second hand ones, they still appear to have a lot of tread left, next set i'll probably get new, but with schoolies and stuff comming up im gonna needs all the money i can get, which is why im opting for 2nd potenza's with excellent tread over chinese recycled condoms

Next tyres i get probably mid to late next year will be new and i'll decide then got 3 michels and a hankook (on the rear) as one of the michelans was defective $300 in total tread is way better then what i had before, wasnt hard to see why the car would slide so much in the wet...probably clean up the old rs rims and use them as beach tyres or somthing tyres size i went for was 205/45R17 when i let all the air out of the suspenson on my gen1 wagon the rear wheels bottom out over big bumps, so i'm guessing superlows and a full car would do pretty much the same. That should answer a few question that seemed to get asked every second day on ozlib...

Im very suprised that they would put mismatched tyres on your car even if its is the rear. Odd tyres have different braking and handling characteristics.

Mismatched tyres aren't going to worries his braking and handling. There are far more things that will do that before the tyres.
