Question, what kinda budget would a noob be looking at for a board, have used one before but no further than getting use to stance and balance.
would a K-mart half-decent job be alright for starters?

$100 for a setup board. Awesome price. I found my new hobby in summer!

K-mart set up is for 6 year old kids...unless you are worse than a 6 year old then go ahead.
No prob, may even just consider a second handy for now, those prices are good, but i don't want/need it that bad at the moment, need that money elsewhere.
Thanks.

ive been thinking the same thing. Id like to get a skateboard to ride when my daughter rides her scooter. Would also be good to ride to the train station, and then to work. The inlines are a bit of a pain to take off when you get to the station, and then have to carry them. A skateboard would be much more convenient.
Sig worthy.

have a guess why the price is "stupid"?
send me $19 and i'll post over some soggy cardboard, 2 bent coat hangers and 4 snakeboard wheels
