Not too shabby!

How do you mean that's is more fun than the WRX was to drive?
Due to it's smaller size? Etc?
Just curious to know so I can factor that info in when buying another car down the track :)

putting your foot down doesnt instantly take you over the speed limit. DSG with paddles is stupid fun its like playing GT5 on a G25/G27. it's just usable everyday and about 10x more comfortable (road noise, seats, vibrations etc)

feels a lot more nimble, standard the polo would outhandle my rex stock. turn TC off and it is a ball of fun around corners, i haven't gotten it anywhere near the limit yet (nowhere suitable, perhaps marulan would be a good opportunity).

these things rock my mrs has a golf tsi one as alex knows and its heaps more fun than the wrx.

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

WRX on the track would be a different story though :D no replacing that outright power! i don't think the polo would get near 180kph at wakefield haha!

General maitenance is all thats required from looking at that. Just top up every few weeks.

Nice car anyway Alex, might have to talk the Mrs out of a Holden Cruise and into one of these.

Early ones copped it bad, have had a redesign in piston rings and oil breather setup. The early ones were rackin up as much as 1l/1000km. That's LS1 territory haha!

I have massive OCD when it comes to maintenance on my cars inside and out it will be well looked after :)

Just on 2000km and hasn't really used any (although it will show on the initial run in sooner than later!)
