aekOne's Photo aekOne 05 Nov 2012

Sydney crew, I'm looking for a good wheel/rim repairer. Can anyone recommend anyone? Just need two small dents straightened, a little rash removed and then repainted.

Cheers Aek

Just bumping this up, havent been able to get in contact with neway. But surely someone in syd can do a decent weld repair on a cracked rim.

Heaps of places advertise dent repairs but not many do cracks. Any Syd folk got any reccomendations??

Thanks Chris, called the bloke up yeaterday arvo, dropped the rim of this morning, he told me it probabky cracked because of a buckle. He quickly spun the rim around and there was a buckle. Only took him a few hours, repaired my buckle and re weld the crack all for $100! Super happy with his work! And his customer service was excelent.

Yeh he's pretty good.... I live 5 mins from him... A couple of yrs ago my brother bought a set of rare enkeis n one was buckled that bad from hitting a gutter he managed to fix it for only $150...

A lot of ppl around here go to him

So he'd be about $100 per rim for gutter rush then?

Best to take the rims in and show him. As it would be hard to quote a job without seeing it.

Well I'd prefer it to be the same colour as they are now... Don't think they're painted so it should be sweet.

Yeah that'll be my best option. I'll see if I can get there on the weekend.

Just use a spray can, heaps of prep work, its what all the pro's do. Just read some build threads on here.
