I don't know about structurally, but Funtionally I would put it on the Short side closest to the hot tub. then you won't have to duck under the 1.6 high wall top plate.

I don't think anywhere will affect the structure. That is basically a house frame.

I might remeausure, and then can you give me the lengths of wood I need to start saving for? I should have most of it already.

You have 90x45? I used 90x35 because thats what I normally buy because it's cheaper. But Let me know what you've got and I'll Use that!

I won't have enough to do the whole thing anyway. I know I have 90x45, but maybe it's smarter to see how much I've got first.
