Note that each bank has 8 pistons, two staggered rows of four at a 15deg angle (hard to see the angle in the pic). Each are capped with a single cylinder head.
The tow rows form a bank of eight and the two banks are angled at 72deg like a standard vee engine would be.

Golf V6 has a setup like this. One bank, one head but 6 pistons in a 15deg vee.

Plenty of cars were available in pink from the factory, but this was normally for the smaller cars.

Holden had a few pinks in the early '70s (remember that our styling was based on US cars but a few years behind) such as "Strike Me Pink" and "Orchid Metallic".

Strike Me Pink was on GTR Torana's, in Adelaide they could barely sell them - my workmate (well true friend really) was offered one with houndstooth interior and all the boxes ticked when he went to trade his earlier model GTR. The pink was just too much for him also, so ended up with a four door that was slow as a wet week. He regrets the shit out of that decision. Brett knows who I'm talking about, we hear the story quite often.

He said his first GTR was his favourite car ever. He now drives an R-Design C30T Volvo - which is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
