Turns out that white GTR I was going to go look at is a complete dud.
Auction papers shopped. KMs wound back. Auction grade papers changed.

Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.

Very nice car that one. I had a good look at in Townsville when the bloke who restored it still owned it.
From memory it has been confirmed as the GMH press car. Pics of it are in all the car magazines of '72.
'Miss Pinky's' car.
Bought for her by her husband, restored by her brother-in-law. They never laid eyes on it during the resto.
Needs a few small things to make it 'correct'.
