As the title states, my clutch is slipping on WOT. Its basically brand new, should be good for 200kw atw's (only hitting about 160) but as I said, slips like a B!tch on WOT. So Im just wondering if theres anyone in Newcastle other then a shop that can have look at it with me and try and diagnose/fix this problem.

Carton/cartons of beer for any good helping hand, and I can come to you if need be or can do it at my Parents house. Or for anyone in the Hunter Valley I can bring the car to my place at Branxton.

Cheers,
Ryan.

Didnt you replace the headgasket yourself? Pull the motor out etc? If its slipping then i would assume you'll need to replace it, unless your slave cylinder isnt fully disengaging.

All the work was done with my family friend who is a mechanic, then it was taken to a gearbox/clutch specialist as the fork moved and wasnt seated properly. (drove about 200ks like this) they said the clutch was fine and reseated the fork and replaced the slave. Im going to try a bleed and see if that helps but im not holding my breath. Im going to try and take it back to them and see if they cant resolve the issue. The car was fine before I had it tuned but now with the added power it slips at anything close to WOT

I can have a look at it. It won't cost you a thing.

Message me on here and we'll organise something.

Only hard part is I'm busy as until the start of March :(

It's hard to diagnose things reading words, A good feel of the clutch will tell all.
