Just wondering if there are any good guys out there that can import parts from Japan but to Brisbane. I realise we have Aaron at Import Monster, but freight is a killer when it is shipped to Melbourne than sent up to Qld. We did have Skippy aka Jason from All Things Subaru but he's now living the high life over in Japan.

Wouldn't you be able to get this Jason guy from Japan to buy the parts and send them over to you? Just pay him directly?

I was speaking to a member on SubyClub about getting STi parts and he told me about a bloke named Jesse (his site is www.jessestreeter.com). Apparently he's an aussie that now lives in Japan. Might be worth looking into; I'm gonna shoot Jesse an email and see what he can do for me.

I know of Jesse. Havent spoken to him as such but.

And I did think of RS Pete. Only drama is they are on the Sunny Coast. Im on the Goldy. 2 hrs drive. Briebane is only 40mins. Just want someone that doesnt rape you on comission and freight.

Can you vouch for Jesse? I mean, is there anywhere else that you can get genuine STi parts for cheaper for example?

Never spoken to Jesse. I only know of him. And unfortunately, I dont have any contact details for Skippy otherwise it'd be on like Donkey Kong.

Just at the moment I'm looking to get my spare changed from a 02 WRX rim to having a fifth Work Emotion Cr Kai 17x8 +47. But by the time you get one over from Japan through IM your looking at atleast 400 for the rim plus purchasing a decent tire for it too. So it does become a little pricey.

Just out of interest, what sti part are you chasing?

Sucks when you see a $30 part on import monster then it turns into like $100+ by the time frieght is calculated

Just out of interest, what sti part are you chasing?

Nothing major, but a few small bits and pieces. Well the rims are the only thing that you could call 'major'. Things I am looking at getting include:

• Oil Filter Cap
• Radiator Cap
• Shift Knob
• Wheel Nut Set (Blue) and/or Security Wheel Nut Set
• STi rims (in either that colour or this one)

Call me crazy but it'll end up being pretty pricey in my opinion but I do like it and would love to have them added to my car. Some very nice aesthetic enhancements.

KRIS would be the #1 go to man for Subaru parts from Japan. I would not use anyone else
