Sounds like you just need some better line, or be a bit more careful!

I think it's a combination of both.

Either way, it makes me so angry, lol!

Can you spin the guard on yours so it's at the front? It's not safe, but you can then run the guard hard up against the wall and not kill the line.

Adam kills his line against the rocks/retaining wall at his place. We both use little Juey heads;

I reckon investing in some SuperCore line would make a big difference 'Dam.

That's a good idea, I think I'll give it a go! The biggest pain, are the posts for the colour bond fence. Instant game over for the line!!! And as you can imagine, I have quite a few of them ;)

Pete. We both use these http://littljuey.com/home/

I think I'll visit a mower shop in a couple of weeks and make that investment!

I don't know about going too thick though, Adam, from what you've said she's a pretty gutless rig you're using?

Haven't seen that Combat line before, might give it a bash.

It does alright with 2x 2mm lines in the one hole....

I think main problem is that before me, the edges were never done. Or they weren't done how I like them done.

I like that little ditch of dirt between the concrete and the lawn. So I'm still trying to overcome that. And it heats up the line, and snap!

The reason I say this, is because it is getting gradually easier. Out the front, I can do on one line change!

So those heads go on your FS90R Nik? I might have to invest if that's the case...although the Stihl factory head seems more than up to the work I do.

Edit...I actually clicked on some stuff in the website and found the info out...Imagine that.

Haha, yeah you need to tell them it's for an FS90 because it's slightly different - well I had to when I bought them last year anyway. They might've ironed it out by now.

Main reason I got the first one was because the Honda heads are soft as tissues, so it was getting ridiculous buying a whole new head every other month. I went for the 'professional' billet Juey. Would recommend.

I do agree that the Stihl heads are a lot stronger, though.

Almost go as far as to say, impressive. I do find the fourmix thing a bit of a pain though, I know it takes only a few minutes, but they could have been a bit more up front with me when I said I want a four stroke unit, surely they knew I'd want to put straight into it.

What ratio do you use out of interest?

I've heard manipulating the ratio can give better 'torque'(I guess?) results?

Well. The floor drainage in the laundry works.

Have an overflow, mate? Reminded me I have to put on a wash. Not used to a small washing machine I normally do a weekly wash.

Little one is a pain. Towels make it try to escape out the back door!

I Posted Image'ed around with the drain hose, and when I put it back into the pipe, it didn't actually go in the pipe, so it dumped onto the floor.

I caught it halfway through though!

My washing machine likes to boogie too :)

I use 50:1 exclusively. I have several Lawn mowers/blowers/hedgers etc that all want something different...50:1 across the board...saves faffing about with different mixes/containers etc.
I can understand your frustration with the 4-mix...for me though, it's ideal.

Haha, lucky catch, Adam.

Yeah, it would be fine if everything ran off mix, but it's the ONLY equipment I have that does!

What oil do you use?
