Mate of mine has this great trick, where he spins on the spot in his 86. Handling setup seems ridiculous. They really need some form of boost though.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

My mate wasn't being crazy with his... still under 1000km on it, so breaking it in slowly... but yeah, boost would be nice... I'd like to take him on in my B4... should be good with my sways and lowered springs VS his stock setup... plus... the twins... :)

Would be fun! Haha.

My mate bought his in Melbourne, since the wait wasn't as bad as up here. So it got broken in just on the drive up :P

You have indeed, ha ha!

My mate owns a white GT 86. I like it to be honest, and to this day he hasn't found a single flaw to it other then it not being turbo. But as far as the car goes alone, he has NO complaints or regrets.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

It looks sick in white. It's that pearly white. He isn't gonna touch it I don't think as he'd wanna get a turbo when they're released.

You should immediately drop whatever it is you're doing, and put the anime series on DL, and the feature film.

Initial D is EPIC

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Hi,

With quite a lot of first hand experience with the S2K, I must say the 86 is far more refined. You still get the 'urge' that you do from the highly strung VTEC of the S2K, but when you're not pushing to 'the limit' you don't feel compromised. Also, the S2K interior is deplorable and completely unliveable on a daily drive.

Still very much on line for one at this stage, unless as stated, something better comes along.

Cheers,
Nik

I would definitely own one (either/or) if the opportunity presented itself (ie. I won $50k).
The engineering development that has gone into these cars is genuinely applaud-able. I saw one at the Maralun driver training centre...completely stock...geez, they are pointy. Power is the easy bit.

@Porky, they aren't built to win laps. They are built for the driver. They are built for fun.

@Justrad, there are more 86's around because there are more 86's available.
