Strut brace adds +400kw

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

So guys, I'm looking to get a boost gauge for my car...

Found a drift gauge with mount and piping and stuff... good price... but will it fit my car?

Shouldn't be a problem right, since it is a mechanical gauge and just need to tap into a vac line, probably from the BOV

Would there be any reason why this drift boost gauge would not fit or work on my car?

Thanks mate, thats what I wanted to hear... :)

So do you recommend tapping into the BOV line?

I don't need to remove the TMIC do I?

When i had my Defi gauge that where i tapped it into. Worked perfectly. No need to remove anything in the engine bay. Biggest hassle maybe is getting to a grommet in the firewall.

So, this would be the first mod I've done on the car...

It is the front strut brace from Sam.

Looks good, don't know if I feel the difference, but all good... :)

It's a Whiteline Mid-Mount Front Strut Brace.

You should know this!

There are 2 main sizes for boost gauges - 52mm and 60mm. I find the 60mm ones are just too big so I have a 52mm one and it fits perfectly in the AC vent.

As long as it's 'mechanical', it will work with minimal fuss ;)

Walts had one in the AC vent of his B4 too. Not sure what size it was though...

Thats an interesting place to mount it Morg... thanks...

Well I just ordered it on eBay, so we'll see when it gets here where I can mount it... I might leave the AC vent alone and just mount it near the windscreen wiper stalk... but we'll see... thanks for the idea anyway...

Your interior looks nice.. :)

Hey guys,

Don't know if this is a big problem, or not, but after the HVC, I've noticed a lot of scrubbing from my wheels.

They used to scrub a bit before the cruise, because the rear is lowered quite a bit and the guard needs to be rolled a little more, but its scrubbing a lot more now, all over.

Wonder if it is possible for the car to drop a little more after the crazy road in the Hunter, or if my camber is screwed, or if I should just roll all the guards in and hope for the best?

Has this happened to anyone else? The only wheel I know what was srubbing was the passenger side rear, but now both rears and possibly the passenger front is scrubbing.

Stop supervising your mrs when she's driving on her L's. You're putting too much of your weight on that side. Fatty.

Aww ok. But it happens when I'm driving in the car alone too, so do I weigh that much? Guess I need to go on a diet
