Blaeven's BD7 LIBERTY GX AWD

Modifications:

Engine:

* 4-2-1 stainless borla replica extractors.
* Full 2.25 inch press bent mild steel exhaust, one resonator (gonna put on another), and an oval redback muffler with no tip (yet).
* Home made (partially thanks to soop) cold air induction.
* A busted O2 sensor that lets me get just over 400km on a tank of fuel and makes my car run rich

Suspension:

* Munroe sensa-trac front struts
* Munted rear struts
* Stock springs
* A strutbrace (brand unknown)

Waiting to go in:

* V4 STi front struts
* Gabriel adjustable rears in unknown (not good) condition, with supposedly chopped springs (according to pedders, who just wanted my money)
* Full set of STi springs [hai dylan] (for incase I decide to keep munroe fronts... anyone want some STi struts?)

Rolling stock:

* B4 multi-spoke wheels.
* RS 277mm twin piston calipers.
* RS 277mm stock replacement rotors (need machining).
* Khumo Ecsta tyres.

This is my car:

i don't know if i'd trust you with a spray gun...

No it isn't.

I have pretty much the same colour as that on a Gen1 and will be spending $1500 out of my tax return on giving the old Gen1 a full spray/dent-repair job...

Its the same as anything to fix....Assumptions make you look like a d**k. Only paint that is difficult/impossible to repair are harlequins and three layer pearls. Since you wont ever be able to afford either you don't have to worry.

whatever...

you said mica paint is more expensive, and i'm also pretty sure you mentioned something about not being able to fix it with a spray can, like you can with gloss or metallic paint...

that makes it more annoying/difficult to fix... seen as i can't do it at home...

No it isn't.

I have pretty much the same colour as that on a Gen1 and will be spending $1500 out of my tax return on giving the old Gen1 a full spray/dent-repair job...

paully reckons i'll be looking at upwards of $3-$4k for a full paint job/dent repair...

unless my memory is failing terribly...

WTF do you mean 'daily driver?' Got details of your 'weekend racer' too? rofl

wait till i buy it....

arg, that sounds way more n00bish than i would have liked...

i don't have a 'weekend racer' but i do plan on buying one in the near/immediate future...

Oi! I fixed you sig, now change your bunghole picture!

no!

i like my poor, old gen2... with it's shitty paint job and everything...

when i put the projectors i just got on, then i'll fix the sig...

till then, deal with it....

3-6k is accurate. You can fix any paint with a spray can. Not even close. You can patch it up, but it will be far from what anyone should consider "Fixed".
