Very interesting to see the various micro-climates that exist as you move further up to the plateau and also in various protected pockets.
Day started here, waterfall way.
Bit of a land slide from the recent rain.
View from the skywalk in Dorrigo back towards the ocean.

little pathway through some rocks
The point where the moss covered Antarctic Beech reached its upper altitude and becomes snow gums, unfortunately I also missed on going down to the Antartic Beech as the walk would have taken several hours and I was tired and pushed for time, it is though some of the prettiest of the lot.

My pictures do not do this place justice, amazing to see in person.

I love that this was only some of what there is to see around this valley! going to try and see a bit more maybe tomorrow or Thursday.

It is the best drive from Coffs to Armidale, The valley you head up before the climb is amazing. I would love to move there oneday.
When Melbourne pisses me off.
The GPS said 1100 or 1200 meters high from memory, @ the top of climb.

Understood! Those four days are the best I can wrangle unfortunately, can't be away for two weekends. Not fair on everyone else (mainly Dad).
Would be awesome to shotgun a beer at that altitude.
Cheers,
Nik
