My boss gave me Friday off too!

Also a bit excited, one of the things to come out of the meeting with my Boss last week was that I should be taking on some special case projects in addition to my normal work, each one one will attract a performance based bonus.. So if I do a decent job on them I should be able to earn some extra dorrars!!!! will take on as many as they will give me $$$$$$$$$$$ + $$$$$$ =
I said to him that I want to make a fair bit more money but that I wasn't going to just demand more money for doing the same job, he seemed happy about that and suggested this!

Well he mentioned to me that it would be harder to obtain a raise similar to what I got last year for not really doing anything extra (would be much more of an uphill battle to get it past the top end of management) but taking on extra tasks such as this is apparently pretty easy to get passed

Well, depending on what Josh does... I might be able to work there... anything to do with IT I guess...

I've struck with Software Engineering for quite some time now... so I think I've made up my mind there... for now anyway

I should be getting a raise in 2 months time.. which should get me over a good milestone... but already looking around for another job anyway, somewhere with a ladder I can climb.. less of a flat structure...
