Now I haven't owned a Gen 2 since 2009 but this DIY was lost in the Internet-black-hole that is OzLiberty.

In the rear garnish of the Gen 2 Liberty sedan, there are extra globes. I believe these are rear foglights for EUDM models but they were never hooked up in our AUDM cars. They are incredibly bright so in the interest of all other drivers on the road, I only hooked them up as brake lights - not tails.

Here's how to do it -

Open your boot.

Pull back the trimming on the right hand side. You'll find a one sided plug.

Snip the blue/yellow wire as shown. If you are colour blind, find a friend to help you.

Expose the wire, turn the plug over and shove it in this hole (that's what she said).

Solder/tape it up so it can't escape and you now have extra brake lights!

Find your friend again and make sure they work.

Morgan, doesn't that remove the power source for the spoiler brake light? I've got the picstures at home on my computer from the ozlib diy.

Must be the trailer harness plug.
GenIII's and GenIV's have them too, look to be all the same plug.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Nope. It's only a Gen 2 thing.

He does that.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

But, if you want some extra brake lights on your B4, I suggest duct-taping one of these bad boys onto your rear spoiler.

My GenIII and GenIV has it.

Your B4 must have been 'special'.

It is the trailer harness plug :)

The b4 doesn't have it because they don't have enough power to tow a trailer. So it's not needed

Not to mention the weight saving deleting the plug.

That equates to a considerable increase in acceleration.
