So, the 'no fucks given' Forester had an exhaust leak from the rear muffler somewhere, which made a high pitched squeal at high revs.

So before going out and getting the exhaust shop to weld on a new one, I thought I'd have a go at making a 'custom' exhaust myself.

Out comes the angle grinder, and 30 seconds later we have a big fuckoff hole.

And to my surprise, it actually doesn't sound too bad. Has a nice boxer note and sounds great on acceleration. (no B4 sound mind you, but not too bad)
The video doesn't really do it justice.

Happy angle-grinding kiddies. I will take it to the exhaust shop when I'm sick of the drone. :D

Why wouldn't you at least take the muff off and cut a hole in the top of it so you don't collect kittens and children in your hole?

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.
