My cat is retarded.

Oh well. I suppose they mimic their owner, right? :P

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

It's OK. Technically wasn't our cat. We found it. It always scratched my sister and I've kicked it a few times. No real connection between the beast and me.

Hmmm, I'm not sure man. I did manage to get Office for Mac 2011 from an official website using my TAFE email account and bought it for a fraction of what it costs as I was a "student".

The website is called http://www.microsoft...hemeID.29256200. Not sure whether Windows 7 is listed there, but might be worthwhile checking out.

The website is not Australian (.au). The phone number on their website is definitely not Australian. If you go to Checkout - there is no PayPal option to pay for your items.

I'd steer clear if I were you....

It has the windows 8 upgrade... but how do I upgrade if I don't have any other versions? I have XP but I can't install that on the mac!

You'll need a Windows operating system installed already to be able to upgrade, otherwise you'll have to buy Windows 8 Pro ($399.99).

To install Windows 8 Pro, customers must be running Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 Consumer Preview, or Windows 8 Release Preview.

Windows 8 upgrade is only $60 at JB?

Ignore that.
It's a Windows 7 upgrade

Trying to install XP now. Can't use bootcamp.

Also, I think winderz 8 will be too advanced for the old versions of cad software I have! Need to Start finding lots of freelance work so I can claim some tax benefits!

Ah ok, fair enough. Why can't you use bootcamp?

Student software puts a watermark on the drawings, Sam. Which makes it useless to use professionally (der)

Bootcamp only supports winderz 7, Gaz!
