little update: Ok so one of the benefits of being a secondary teacher is getting school holidays. Today is the first day and I spent a little time doing a few simple little things that have been on my mind. Firstly, last year I bought a rear sway bar with mounts etc from Cam and have had them sitting in the garage ever since. So today i thought I would set about giving them a sand- with the help of my elder sister- and giving them a fresh coat of paint. Still need to get some end links and the mounting screws as the RX did not come with a RSB....it has the spot to mount it but nothing else. I really want to get this all set up shortly.

I also have been looking at the lower black window trim and rubber seals lately and been thinking that they have faded and have become spotted and ugly. Ill throw up a DIY later tonight on how to complete this process. But it was pretty simple- I did manage to stuff one up pretty bad so will be getting a new one and giving it a fresh coat of paint. But the others look good. Anyway some photos.

Cleaning the muck that has built up under the trim:
This is the one I stuffed up- on removal I applied a little to much force and it bent slightly- you should be able to see it in this picture- didn't realise how easily these bend. You do need to apply a decent amount of pressure to pop the green clips out on the rear doors as the window does not go far enough down to be able to pop them out gently. The front ones are easy. The rears proved more difficult as clearly seen by me bending one. Damn it!
But here is what they looked like finished.
I also went down to get a new flange welded on the diff back but he wanted $140 bucks- I am going to head over to another shop tomorrow and get another quote. But hopefully will have that on by the end of the week. Thats all for now. Cheers.
