A number of reasons actually...
I am, in all honesty, unable to afford the amount of $ it costs to get the amount of track/strip time I ideally want on my own. The arrangement I have come to, with a friend of 20+ years, solves a problem for both of us. More track time, shared expenses and I get a badly needed injection of funds, while still retaining majority ownership of the Wagz. Jaso is also a mechanic with better than average welding skills too, which is a bonus.
I know I could(probably should) swap all the mechanicals into a GC8, but I decided what the hell, I would rather a unique and beautiful race car/wagon.
It will be epic when Catless and drinking E85.
I'm hunting for a cheap Gen2 GX/LX NA Wagon for work/daily duties so I can swap all the nice interior and leftovers in, so let me know if anyone is selling.
