Just going back to the phone thing, FFS this phone CHEWS data. 

 

I've smashed out 4gb of data for this month and gone over my cap. The operating system has used 3gb of background data alone. Holy fsckballs.

 

Time to disable heaps of shit.


 


I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Yeah. I've done some Googling, and apparently the "Google Backup" is the culprit. Heaps of guys getting data use of around 10gb plus. It seems that it is constantly backing up the phone, so I've just disabled the shit out of it, along with heaps of auto sync services and installed a Network Monitor.

 

Called Optus, and they gave me additional gigabytes of data for free, so thats good as well.

In other news, I just agreed to buy a $1.8k Gen2 Wagz with 9months rego...pick up this weekend.  I have a young bloke coming to buy the Golf today and the work ute will be going to it's new owner early next week :)
