If you missed out on entering Yokohama World Time Attack 2013 here’s a chance to win a free entry into Open Class or Clubsprint Class.

Or if you like doing track days, or want to do your first one, here’s your chance to have fun with like-minded petrol heads. You don’t need a CAMS licence and you can bring your daily driver.

The first track day will be held on Saturday 3rd August at Winton Raceway, in VIC, about six and a half hours from Sydney or two hours twenty from Melbourne.

The fastest car using Yokohama ADVAN A050 tyres at the Winton Raceway ADVAN Track Day will win a free entry into Yokohama World Time Attack 2013 Open Class. Or if the car is already entered the entry fee will be refunded.

The event is designed for those with Yokohama tyres. Yokohama is subsidising the entry fee which is just $195. Of course if you don’t have Yokohama tyres you can come along too but the entry fee is more expensive at $230 and you won’t be eligible for prizes or trophies.

The second track day will be at Wakefield Park on Wednesday 21st August. Wakefield Park near Goulburn is just two hours away from Sydney and about six hours forty from Melbourne.

The fastest car using ADVAN Neova AD08 or the new AD08R tyres at the Wakefield Park ADVAN Track Day will win a free entry into Yokohama World Time Attack Clubsprint Class. Or if the car is already entered the entry fee will be refunded.

Yokohama is subsidising the Wakefield Park entry fee which is just $145. If you don’t have Yokohama tyres the entry fee is $180 and you won’t be eligible for prizes or trophies.

The main reason for the ADVAN Track Days is to allow people to try the new ADVAN Neova AD08R which, along with the older AD08, is the control tyre for the Yokohama World Time Attack Clubsprint Class. Shipments of these awesome street/track tyres in some sizes have just arrived in Australia. Other sizes will be arriving over the next couple of months.

Yokohama is putting together sets of wheels and tyres in popular fitments to allow entrants to try the new tyres. Yokohama will also be giving entrants pyrometer pads and doing tyre temperature readings at each event to help drivers choose the right pressure and get some hints on vehicle setup.

Circuit Club, NSW will be hosting the ADVAN Track Days. They’ve been hosting fun and friendly track days for a decade. They provide the perfect social environment and a driving instructor for those who want to experience the thrill of their first track day.
