I'm after a few Subaru OEM 15208AA100 Tokyo Roki oil filters. Where's the cheapest place to buy these?

Apparently the blue Subaru US 15208AA12A replacement filters are inferior.

All the ones I get from Subaru are the black one, not sure if the part number is the same. But that looks like the ones I get from my local Suby dealer.

I'm using the black one too..Turbo Auto Spares in Cabramatta (Sydney) sells them. $16.50 and $4.50 for a sump washer -_-

I'll bulk buy next time for a discount.

Mcgrath Subaru spares give you the sump washer free when you buy an oil filter...

Better option so u dont need to change the sump washer is buy a fumoto valve...

So glad I got one of these, they are worth it for $25 odd. Never have to buy a washer again.

Inferior? They wouldn't be using them if that was the case.

It would cost them millions.

What does the sump washer do?

I've never changed it or seen it before when changing oil.

Stops leaky leaks.

It's probably stuck to your sump plug ;)

helps prevent the sump plug from leaking..

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Ok thanks, I haven't lost any oil or had a leak in the 30000ks I've driven so should I even bother changing it
