So its been a few weeks since I let my beloved Gen 3 liberty go to my good mate Grant, so happy to see it go to a good home, and to someone who knows exactly how much time, effort and money went into that build

I'll still think of it as one of the greatest gen 3s ever..but alas..times change

I got a new pajero to setup for offroading and camping, and told myself one day id buy a gen1 to build up and track as a fun weekend car

Now I must say if Grant put 5k on his car I would own it right now..but he wants more for it..and its one tidy example ;) but the second my liberty left ive been searching for a good price rs liberty to muck around with, it only made me want one more when Mark bought his cheap rs

But one I had eyeing off was a charcoal RS, which I later found out was Scotts (bigboyscottyb) old liberty...it had all the right mods and at a decent price!!

Upon inspection I was a bit daunted at the messiness of some things..but I remembered im used to how neat the gen 3 was..and reminded myself its a 23yo RS ffs lol

So I made an offer and am picking it up on monday :D

Gonna grab some sti alloy control arms today and see if cardiff subaru has a decent strut brace as Im not too fond of the one on it atm

And i will be grabbing an xforce dump and race cat and molesting my tcp 3inch to 2.5 inch stainless system to make up a new exhaust for it as the one on it is all mismatched and sits really low....might chuck a new muffler at it aswell ;)

But as soon as I get it, its gonna get a massive clean and polish/wax..and get the rear spoiler back on
