Roarsome. :)

As you have pretty much zero chrome on the car go with the black tip. Apparently chicks love a black tip??

I like my black stainless muffler more than if it was polished stainless. :)

While i was out dropping all the bits off for powder coating i took a drive to pro speed to have a talk to Troy and grab another set of camber bolts for the rear end, as ive found that doing all the adjustment on the control arms can end up with differing track on each side..like 10mm in some cases :/..i checked and nothings bent....just slightly out? The hubs might not be in the exact same position as theres a bit of slop in the bolt holes

But the bolts should fix it ;)

And whilst i was there i spotted a perfect little catch can (yes another catch can change lol) to do something I've wanted to do for a while....ie run 2 cans...one for the crankcase and one for the heads

So in enters the mishimoto baffled air/oil separator...very tidy, very black and looks like it will catch and seperate plenty of oil

I'm going to run it where the air con was and only filtering the crank....and the heads will go to the newly powdercoated hyperflow 4 port...which ill turn into a 3 port with 2 in, one out.

So each head will go separately to the can and with longer hoses it'll help losing oil straight into the can on high g corners as happens a lot with our cars unfortunately.

I think it'll look fairly neat with all the other hoses now hidden behind or under the manifold...and only the two return hoses going over the alternator etc

And more importantly it will split the heads away from the crank which is as Subaru intended it

Just got to redo a bracket for the pcv can and make make up one for the hyperflow once i get it back

Yep for the most caster with a touch of camber....if you set the coilovers on on the normal full camber setting you mess with the steering axis inclination which screws a bit with the self centering and a few other things...ie not the best for my intended purposes atm

You just unbolt and turn the tops till they're in that position

To get a midmay with more caster than the normal position but still with good camber adjustment you swap the hats side to side ;)

Lots of info on iwsti and naisoc about it all

Got tape?

20150427_174802.jpg

20150427_174809.jpg

In pulling the trims off for the vinyl wrap and later paint...i disturbed some of the rear window seal and it dripped a few drops off water into the car

So off it came again and cleaned it up and resealed with some windscreen sealant and put the trim back on

Trim clips are all screwed and never wanted to reset into the holes...so i trimmed them and they are held on via the sealant surroundng the molested clips ;)

Tape is to keep it all flush till it sets and stop it bowing or something stoopid

Whos ready for more babble?

Another day off work today...love my 7 day fortnight!

So a few more bits removed from the list

Figured out how to adjust the rear windows as they were leaking a touch as they were way out of alignment....bit of sideways...but of heights..little bit of tilt and they are perfect! Will test with a hose later on. ..no pics because boring...but i may diy that shizz later as its handy to know ;)

Also got the rear parcel shelf fitted now the tints complete...tidy fit and looks much better than the metal lol..bit of a divet where the speaker holes are...but im not fussed...if it bothers me later ill just get some basic no name speaker covers and put them over the holes

20150428_150940.jpg

Annndd dug in and got the rear window spoiler i got off Mark (scubaroo) ftted

Required lots of cleaning as it was layered with lots of horrible adhesive, silastic and god knows what...and had a heap of overspray on it from a previous owner

So cleaned, scraped and polished it....wiped it and the window down with wax and grease remover...fitted some body moulding 3M tape and on she went

LOOKS AWESOME!

thanks for coming :)

Yeah now its on i cant believe how incomplete and naked the rear window to roof line looked lol

and black rims will be much much later when i could be bothered to peel the tread off and be without the car for a week or two...so definitely not before HVC

Will be powdercoated..maybe a satin?

But they look good with the gold brembos behind them i reckon
