I'm required to fit an immobiliser for insurance. Looking for someone who will do a decent job in Brisbane.

Car should already have the factory immobiliser... Can you see any red flashing lights on the dash when you take the key out?

JDM Subarus don't come with stock immobilisers. It had one fitted when imported, was problematic, so was removed.

Yeah we went through this in another thread, the JDM model does not have a coded key. Unfortunately I can't recommend anyone though.

My previous b4 had the standard b4 alarm removed (keypad included) by amauto and their recommended alarm installed (auto watch 446rLi immobiliser/alarm). I had mixed results.... I think they were in a rush because they never installed the boot sensor or bonnet sensor so effectively you could open half the car before the siren went off. They definitely removed the dash to install the alarm in a very very hard place to remove though which is great. To their defence, I only half bothered to chase them up about it but didn't really get anywhere with it. I'm sure if I tried harder they would of resolved the issue. Mighty car mods have a episode up with al at amauto if your interested in seeing the kind of work he can do. Just my 2 cents.
