Dude they make you pay to walk down the footpath in UnZud. Not for me. 

 

More than happy with the places I've been. I am also more than happy to spend the extra money to travel within Australia. 


Also, I'm fuckin' keen for someone to go to the post orifice!

I don't think anyone said anything about not 'seeing' the world Sam, more about where you would like to live.

 

I also am happy to pay extra to see what Australia has to offer, beautiful place with a LOT to see.

 

This doesn't mean there is no where overseas I would also like to see.

I've only lived in Singapore, had a holiday in Malaysia when I was young, and then moved to Australia... and even within Australia, I've only lived in Sydney, had a holiday on the Gold Coast when I was young and had a bucks in Melb last year... that ends my travels... :(

Weirdly i think i could give Europe another shot now. The biggest reason for moving back was because vicky and i had shit jobs. We are both much better placed in the working world now.
Probably the only thing stopping me pursuing something in Europe is the kids. I still think Australia is the country to raise kids.
The european winters are shite if youve not got a way to escape them, even just for a week or two. Vicky and i never had the cash to bail to somewhere like spain during the winter months. Going to work in the dark, getting home in the dark, cold, wet, foggy. Gets a bit depressing.
The flipside is the epic long summer days. Provided you dont get a shitty summer when it rains all season.

I don't think I can swing a trip to tassie and MDSC, Nik :P Would love to though!

 

Rach's uncle has a fork load of FF points and he wants to fly us down there, So we need to make that happen!
