Still have a few more mods before I am done they are:

I'm no fan of them wheels. For the price, you could have bought 06 STi wheels from the tuned by STi liberty. V3 STi conversion at minimum in my books. Don't bother with TT unless you convert them to single turbo.

18" Work CR Kais = $1700 without tyres from Rampant Performance Imports in Melbourne. Light, well-designed and popular. Also, on a Gen3 I reckon you'd be mad to go V3 STi. While it is a good fit for Gen1-2 Libertys, on a later Gen3 I'd go the full tilt AVCS EJ207 from a Bugeye STi. Forged goodness with better heads than V3 STi.

Hey Guys,

Thanx for the comments. As for the rims Evil_B4. I know you said they were big. I was hoping they would fit. But then again. you only need to learn once before you stop being a d**k head. I guess mine cost me $1700, although I like ozzytyres saying they could match 1700, then a week later quote my flat mate $3500 for the same pair. :) never going to them.

I am looking at a set of ANZ Rage - http://www.jaxquickf...ps/ANZ-rage.jpg
Seems to be 1300-1400 for rims, tyres, and balance.

As for the conversion. I am looking towards the later model wrx, around 03/04 single turbo, maybe the 2.5L. Will need to see which will cost the most to drop in and wire up. I was thinking B4 because i think Jovi said wiring loom would be close to the RX..

18" > 20 sounds good, i would love 20"s, but I guess if I do the conversion the 18"s will give me better track abilities later on.

16/17's are better for the track and cheaper for tyres.

Those ANZ rims only come in 8.5" wide. Garaunteed, they will come in a max +48 offset, probably less. So factor in 225's and then scrubbing issues if you lower it. Very limited range of suitable aftermarket rims for Subaru.

Not really Limited. Just the only Brands that do them are expensive. (Rays, Work and BBS FTMFW!) The cheap mass produced wheels we get in this country are all shocking. I don't think I've seen a design are like in a very long time.

Remember multi-stud also fits.. that's why they are called multi stud.. (not you the wheels..)

These are surprisingly well priced.. ok, EXTREMELY well priced.. (Under $1k) some ok styles too..

King wheels range

Sorry about the OT..

Limited here in Aus if you compare them to wheels available for Holden and Ford ;)

Dude, you wouldn't be flogging road tyres on a track? You could go road legal semi-slicks but you'd probably find it MUCH cheaper to have a set of track wheels..

Please consider spending less on the wheels and more on the tyres, ESPECIALLY if you are going to do a conversion..

BTW, I got some of those kings for $110 ea on special.. yes, $440 for brand new wheels..

What JOVI said about WRX wheels is also worth thinking about.. rexnet or liberty.asn are both good places to trawl for wheels.. and they'll likely be wrapped in Bridgestones (made by Michelin don't you know?)..

Anyways.. put your unknowns on eBay ftw..

About the STI/WRX Rims I don't much like them. I don't like the way they look, I am not sure what it is about them but I just can't get my head around them. Maybe I should look for a set of 18" rims that are going to fit. Yeah Jovi, you told me the rims would not fit. Like Lance did. I was hopeful, but again no dice. no fitting. I found out where they were scrubbing too.
