this is the plan (plus some that will unlikely be done in time)

  • STI springs
  • 4 pot fronts (no point in doing the rears atm as I may do the AWD conversion)
  • UEL headers and exhaust
  • Finish oil pressure sender install (sandwich plate or block install)
  • RX kit with fogs
  • Find RS bonnet (should probably be in the unlikely list as finding one cheap is proving harder than I thought)
  • Clean cabin pollen filter so the cold blows

Unlikely list

  • Repsray
  • AWD Conversion
  • Turbo conversion (including heads + everything else)... maybe just an engine swap, who knows!
  • 4. Turbo tune
  • 5. E85??

I'm sure there's more that will pop up in as I go through but that'll do for now

Easiest option, buy halfcut. Fit over a weekend or two. knock off 95% of that list.

Spot on!... in an ideal world that would be the plan but finances won't stretch to a half cut at the moment (hence why they are on the unlikely list) and there's also finding a few spare weekends between now and then to actually do the transplant.

STI springs, 4 pots, headers and exhaust I already have but they just have to be installed.

Since I've got a new car,

Learn how to drive manual

Find out if I can legally drive a manual by myself (can with full licensed person in passenger)

Give it a proper clean all over

Find source of oil on top of engine (powersteering pump)

Clean engine bay

Find where ants and spiders are hiding

Get Subyclub sticker

Adjust clutch

Find out why sub isn't working

Clean up the scratches on bumper

Finish cut and polishing the roof

Have a look at the brakes

Get new shifter bushings

New coolant and oil

Probably not list,

Short shifter and new bushings

Lower on new springs or coilovers

Momo steering wheel

There's more that I'm sure I missed

Past

1990 Subaru Liberty GX

1998 Subaru Liberty GX wagon

1992 Subaru Liberty RS Turbo

Present

If NSW is like Vic then you'll need a full licenced driver next to you until you redo your practical test. OR risk a $144 fine and no demerits.
