Subarus new generation WRX is the cover story in the April edition of EVO Australia magazine, out now.

In the 10-page feature, EVO rates WRX Premium four stars, with the verdict:

Its addictive fun and serves to remind that, while the WRX may be 20 years old, its blend of traction, affordability and performance will never grow old or go out of style. Its rare that a new generation performance car manages to be both more liveable and more fun to drive. The new WRX pulls off the double.

For the full story see the April edition of EVO Australia, on newsstands now.

Ironic?

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

What is ironic in the above?

That everyone says it looks like an Evo.

So a magazine called Evo has named it as their top car..

Drove one on Sunday. Nice drive - power delivery in stock form needs a little tweaking bit of a flat spot above 4000rpm (no doubt a tune issue).

Impressed on how far they have come with cabin noise, exhaust note is fairly loud standard which is a good thing. Stacks of legroom front and back and a huge boot. Potential next car come a year or two after some tweaks....
