[STI MY11]

P0390 Camshaft Position Sensor Trouble Code,does anyone knows how to fix this problem,is a wiring problem ore battery, thanks

chances are the sensor is broken, the sensor can also be tested if you can get to the wiring plug on the front of the motor near the main drive pulley.

 

If anybody has fiddled with the front of the motor lately the ring on the pulley could be damaged

Just noticed the age of the car, have you had any trouble starting it? 

 

like slow cranking or just cranking over

Hi guys thanks for the help,never had problem starting,check the battery all good,I did not wash the bay , the car has 60000 km done , I driven the car and cruise control, traction control, sport mode and engine lights are on, the sport modes can't be adjusted,,I will delete the fault code first and then if it comes back I will check the sensor, thanks guys for help.
