Take it for a drive along a rough road - it will settle much faster. But yes, certainly needs some more low. Looks great in comparison to how you got it though!

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

More low, and definitely fix that license plate. It was the first thing I saw in that photo.
Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Little update,
Front plate finally centred;
Also got my stickers in the mail
That's about all, does anyone have any tips on fixing peeling clear coat? I've got some vinyl to cover it up after I sand it down. Anything to try before I do this?

Vinyl warped the boot after sanding and priming it. Took a fair bit of time to put on, involving decent amount of ing around with heat gun. Went with the wrap because if I want to paint it later on it's easily removable. Also changed my mind about getting a wing from a 4wd model, prefer the wingless look
Might keep it de-badged but that could change soon just need some double sided tape.
Really doubt i'll make it to HVC this year, still stuck on my L's... Next year there will be no missing out. I've got to replace brakes all round, then have a look the the bearings as the car seems to be pulling to the side every now and again, could just be me not used the wider tyres.

Not a fan of the vinyl, but it's better than having screwed up original paint. If the car is pulling to one side then all you require is a wheel alignment.

Been pretty quite lately and haven't done much either. Dad bought a heater core off ebay but it ended up being completely different from the original one....
So instead of buying another one we went to the wreckers and stripped one out of another gen 1. Was much quicker to remove this one because we already has done it to my car.
It was a good chance to properly clean the car and check for anything broken.
The old core left quite a mess afterwards.Looks like a rubber connection just got too old and perished, so once the car warmed up the coolant escaped.
Got it all back together, tested it and everything seemed to work properly. Also scraped off the old glue that was on the windscreen vents
Next up is regassing the air con and checking if the compressor is working. After that (if nothing's wrong with the ac) it might be time for a new exhaust and getting the emblems back on

Nice work. How hard was pulling apart the dash?
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Looking good mate.
I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

Looks exceptionally tidy for a Gen1.
Out of any job Ive done on a Subaru, this rates as one of the more annoying. Just a lot of work to get to it.

Thanks guys
Nice work. How hard was pulling apart the dash?
It wasn't really hard it just involved lots of tagging, photo's and remembering how stuff went

Another small update.
Stock rims have gone back onto the car until i get my p's and also get new tires on the front ones. Could possibly be getting a cannon off bosskong so will need to take another trip down to the wreckers.
I've gotten all but one of the badges back on; the problem with the centre badge is cutting out the tape. It's got so many small holes and shapes i cant get the scalpel in to cut it.
Also on the lookout for a rear bumper and possibly some king springs just to bring it down about 3-4cm. Can't go much lower because of all the mountain speed bumps around manly.

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

Got a cannon off Bosskong today and installed it as soon as I could.
All when well except for a little rubbing on the bottom of the bumper but when i get a new one the problem should be fixed.
Now for the good bit. Didn't want to rev it too much as the motor was cold, will get a better one later in the week. Love the sound so far can't wait to hear it while driving.
