Thought I'd start a build thread for my car. No performance mods yet, thinking of getting her tuned at some point though.

Future exterior mods include wind visors, coils and new rims as the enkie ones have been gutter rashed a lot (would probably be cheaper to buy a set gravels than get the enkies refurbed), Then just general fixing up of all the little things that annoy me like scratches, cloudy headlights, and some of the rubber seals are lifting. Interiors is going to be steam cleaned and a good protectant to save her from being destroyed by my kids. Apart from that, I havent really thought of much else to do to her.

Nice.

Full refurb and repaint of the rims will only set you back $480 and you can change the color too. ;)

I was gonna mention what Mark said. It'd be worthwhile getting them refurbed to be honest, and if you don't, I'm sure there'd be a mountain of people wanting to buy those Enkei's off you. ;)

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Oh really?? Hmmm that sounds better. I think I read somewhere that a company kinda close does it for about 200 per rim. But 480 is much nicer!!

Yeah if I do go down the new rim path, the enkies will be staying in the family :-D

I know of someone in Sydney that does it for aroudn the $200 mark per rim as well (may be even cheaper, you just have to fill in their form to get a free quote), they're probably the cheapest I've found around here to be honest. Definitely take Mark up on the offer if that's the path you decide to go down.

And that's good to hear. They're exceptionally good-looking rims.

Use that cut and polish on a Mothers Speed Cone

It's a red foamy attachment that goes on a cordless drill

Cuts it down to a fraction of the time

Also Meguires PlastiX is the best cutting agent for headlights and plastics

Forgot to put this up on sat, after id cleaned the headlights, decided I didnt like the chrome on the grill (or the weird dark grey blue colour of the grill itself). So I changed it to a matte black. I like it more than the chrome. But hopefully soon, ill get my mits on an open grill :)

This weekend im going to try and clean up the marks and bugs from the front bar.

Very nice touch ups. I do like the matte black grille, but I haven't got the guts to do it myself yet. I'm after a Corazon grille to replace it. :)

That lip...

It is one thing I'd love to get for my wagon.

I love the look of the corazon's but dont think I can justify spending 500+ on one at the moment. Was going to use plasti dip onthe grill but couldnt get any on sat and I was impatient lol. I sprayed my gen1 grill and front bar so im pretty confident hehe.

Lips are awesome. Its not the original one though, just an ultrex one. Thinking of finding side lips or using that ezlip stuff from ebay. Having fun withthis car :)

I can't justify that price either, although second-hand ones do pop up every now and then.

I'm all for the genuine lip. I know it's pricey but meh. :P
