In the US, Subarus are promoted as green, efficient vehicles. But not in Russia. In Russia, they use a dog getting run over
Russia may not be in everybody's good books at the moment, but they don't half produce great adverts.
In the US, Subarus are promoted as green, efficient vehicles.
In the UK, they would probably advertise them as family-friendly yet stylish cars.
But not in Russia. In Russia, they use a dog getting run over.
Filmed from inside the car, the driver of the Subaru in the above video hits the animal before reversing to see what the impact was from.
Horrified, they leave the vehicle and run to see if the animal is fatally wounded.
Unbeknown to them, however, the dog's accident is a ruse - it promptly leaps to its feet, legs it to the car and DRIVES it off. Before rocking out to some in-car music.
It loves Subarus, you see. They're THAT good.
No dogs were (probably) hurt in the filming of the above ad.
