Tristan, you either need to suck it up and work your arse off to regain the trust with your boss, or tell them to jam it and go and get a job you enjoy.
Life is too short to be unhappy at work.
i would...
if there was work to do...
internal support roles suck ass cos most of the time i'm just waiting for something to break so i can fix it...
if nothing breaks, i have no jobs to do...
i'm going to start looking for another job...
work is too much a part of my life for me to hate it...
i spend my evenings depressed just knowing that i have nothing to look forward to except more work tomorrow...

I've had that feeling before!
I put up with it for about 6 months and then one day I just up and quit. I took 3 months off after that and had a ball. It was a great reflective period for me to figure out where my career path should head.
By no means am I suggesting that you quit! Just empathising with you!

i hate the job... like the people (except the boss, who, btw, is a massive d**k!) but that's about it...
this job was a real foot in the door for me as far as the IT industry is concerned...
my dad got me the job (being 2IC of the company and all)... but working in a company like this one, having my dad there is kinda wierd....
i will be quitting sooner rather than later... what i'm going into i have no idea....
so if anyone knows of any jobs... give me a yell... lol... HAI DYLAN!!!

Man. You get paid to sit on your arse?
I'd kill to get paid to do nothing. Seriously.
it's over-rated...
especially when you have to be doing something even when there is nothing to do...
time goes so slowly... every day to me feels like a whole week...
doing nothing is bullshit... and it contributes to the sinking feeling in my gut that says to me "you're wasting your life"
and it's worse without internet.... much worse...
at least before, i could talk to you idiots all day...
now i've got nothing...

Yuh huh...
cool... lol...
i'd ask you to hook me up... but i don't think there is much you could do hey??
yeh... well i'd be searching seek... except that the little time i do have access to the internet (at home, after work) i tend to spend doing other things... like catching up on the stuff i've missed
and i have had a look, but can't seem to find anything yet...
i don't think there is much demand for a guy who dropped out of uni after one year and only has 6 months IT exp going for him...

Nothing I can do for jobs listed on the seek site, but internal postions within our seek office I can do something about. We've go an office in North Sydney.
There's a real labour shortage at the moment, so you should find a job really easily.
Don't worry about that lack of uni and minimal work experience thing. It doesn't mean anyting if you know what you're talking about.
Some of the stupidest people I've met have MBA degrees and have sepnt 10 years at uni.

No young grasshopper.....
Labour as in the general workforce... As in there is a high vacancy rate for job seekers.
