Hi everyone, thought I'd share my build thread on here also

This is my first car, an 05 gen4 lib 2.5i manual... got it off my brother 

Mods are slowly taking off, I plan on having most of it done before I get my Ps (4-5 months) 

 

Current mods/Plans:

 

 

Engine/Driveline/Performance

-Engine reconditioned, new crankshaft, bearings, rings etc

-New exedy clutch w/single mass flywheel conversion

-Remove intake resonator

-HKS air filter 

-Exhaust with UEL headers and quad tipped mufflers

 

Handling/Suspension/Stopping

-Front dba t2 street series slotted rotors  

-Rear RDA slotted rotors 

-Intima SS brake pads

-Near new potenza rubber

-Lowered springs

-Front strut brace

-Rear sway bar

 

 

Exterior

-Sports mesh grille 

-Tinted taillights with cutouts

-Window tint

-6000k HID low beams 

-LED parkers

-LED foglights 

-Stock 17s painted matte black

-Blacked out headlights 

-Plastidipped mirror covers

-Plastidipped 'liberty' badge Now debadged 

-Rear suby badge painted black

-Towbar removed

-6000k HID foglights 

-STi front lip (purchased, thanks Louisa!)

-Boot lip

-New rear bumper

 

 

Interior

-CF wrapped HU surrounds 

-STi style gear knob

-Alloy pedals out of a 3.0RB

 

Audio

-Kenwood KDC-X016BT (taken out for now) 

 

 

 

I've decided to move away from the black on silver theme, so recently I've taken out the blacked out headlight inserts and peeled off the plastidip..

 

Happening In the next few weeks... if all goes to plan 

-New rims!!  which will be powder coated gunmetal or something similar

-Blue or black wheel nuts??

-Calipers painted silver with black 'subaru' decal

-Rusty rear rotor hubs painted black 

-Front bumper touched up and new mesh grille colour coded

-STi front lip plastic welded or fiberglassed 

  + a few other little things

Any advice, suggestions etc will be much appreciated, thanks

Nah mate, they're just overlays with cut outs.. do look like LEDs though

haven't put any on yet.... still don't know of any for gen4s
