When I was looking for insurance Just Car was just over halfway to being the most expensive insurer...
I initially wrote down all of the quotes I received from various companies however I have thrown out that page in my notepad...
might be changing insurers next year then thats BS
I won't be changing insurers now. I will be meeting the 27 age limit in a couple of weeks and have three total policies which gives me a further discount on their services. They're a reputable company and having dealt with them when someone reversed into my car, I was pleased with the prompt response and repair.

3rd party fire and theft from NRMA was around $350. Can't remember what full comp ended up being.

I'm actually thinking of changing to Shannons if they will take me on for Comp. Been with them before. Pain is that 99% of insurance companies don't know what a Subaru Legacy is and as soon as you throw around the word "import" dollars hit the roof. I actually paid less annual premium for my XR5 for an agreed value which is 5 times higher than what i have the GT-B insured for.

This might make you feel better Jimbo; I turn 26, not 27.
What a fail. This sickness is giving me temporary amnesia.

That makes it worse as your CTP premium drops when you turn 27!!

But it's a whole year away! I was so happy for the next couple of weeks, but now I've gotta wait a whole year and a couple of weeks.

Lol, only time when getting older feels better doesn't it?
So my CTP came the other day for my 2001 Liberty Heritage. I'm 23 with 1 past at fault accident history.

Full Comprehensive insurance costs me a whopping $2845 after a loyalty discount of 12.5% with the NRMA with a 55% No Claims Bonus...

So it looks like the going rate is $767.52. That's 3 so far with that exact figure.

I think I might call up NRMA and see whether they can hook me up further. You never know until you ask right? Worst-case scenario, my next door neighbour and a friend from my old work both work at NRMA.

Gary, if they've given you what percentage discount you can get with stating how many years and how many policies etc in a letter to you, that's all you'll get as they've checked already....
I have been with them much longer than you and have more policies with them.

Have you asked them before?

Seriously? I'm 21 and pay $900ish p.a for full comp on a B4 with mods declared (Just Car).

Yeah, but where do you live?
Edit, just did a quote and ends up being a lot cheaper but with way less features...

You need a to find a new insurer. You are getting forking rorted!
Back on my Gen 3 RX it was 1800 with NRMA, and that was with 2 accidents and a license suspension..
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

No harm in trying man.
You are paying WAY too much for full comprehensive insurance though...
