Lazy topic as I havent done any research yet.

Im after some cross bars for my GTB. Are the Gen4 Outback ones a direct fit? Rail type is the same low design.

Was it SG Foz ones? They're not going to be a permanent fixture. Just fitted when required then removed afterwards.

When i got my rails from ichiban ben gave me some racks aswell, the are audm racks with the lower bit cut down, they work fine but i wouldnt put anything big up there.

If you're going to remove them when not in use, you can use aftermarket racks like a set of rhinos. I leave mine on - but they're pretty fugly and make the car look like dad's old banger (which I suppose it is anyway)

hey mate i used genuine subaru gen 3 lib cross bars and just modded to suit, was pretty easy, i just trimmed

them down

Pretty much only be carrying a couple of boards so nothing heavy. I'll look into all suggestions.

Didnt want to settle for "almost" right, so ended up finding a set of INNO BH Legacy ones for sale in Japan. Not from the Yahoo Auctions, from i-parts.

 

The guys at Import Monster were able to buy them for me and provide shipping. Total shipped is $135. :D
