Looks like I've got a transmission leak in my 3Gen MY00 Liberty RX. Hoping it's not too much to repair

Last few weeks the cars been smelling a bit after running. Like a hot oil smell. Figured it was a sump gasket or something. Finally got around to looking at it today and the engine oil is fine but the tranny is dry

Anyone got recommendations for tranny oil?
Anyone have any experience on whether these sorts of things (transmission seals) are expensive to repair or if they're possible to do as a DIY for a semi-non-mechanically minded person? I'm just assuming its a tranny seal

If its the transmission pan, they dont use a seal as such, they use RTV sealant.

Very easy to DIY.
