hey hey,

so i've had a CV boot think it was a great idea to let go while on the beach, and true to natural selection theory, it has paid for this bad choice with its life....

but anyway, i've called around and there are a few options for CV shafts, but i hadnt heard of any of these brands and a google and forum search didnt come up with anything

so the options are below

Repco

-"Roadtech" - $259

Supercheap Auto

-"Fuji" - $155

-"DTA" - $187

-"Protex" - $161

Subaru

-OEM (no longer produced) - $1379 (no thats not a typo)

or otherwise getting one from a wrecker

car is a 1994 gen 1 liberty sedan 4wd

What am I missing - why do you need new shafts and not just rebuilt CV joints?

EDIT: supercheap have joints about $65 a pop.

I bought a new one of ebay for $99 delivered. ADA brand. Ive done plenty of rebuilds/boots before rather just pay the extra $34 and have a new one turn up on my doorstep.

Hopefully its half decent quality. I doubt thers much difference in quality between rhe cheapee shafts. They would all be made to a standard
