I don't see a problem with it,

If you modify a car in an illegal way, expect attention and deal with the consequences.

Looks no different to any given night of the week. That's why you don't go do happy laps of your local shopping centre at ridiculous hours. Go looking for trouble = find trouble.

Don't modify your car illegally, then you cannot get done for it.

Yep jimbo nailed it

For those with the whole dont modify illegally and dont get booked ideas, gotta remember that most of us on this forum or in the modified car community have something or have done something to their cars that would be considered illegal in the eyes of the law in some obscure way...some more obvious than others lol.

Its simply the risk we take to build a car we enjoy. Doesnt mean theyre unsafe, hell in some ways theyre safer?!...just not legal in the eyes of the law, and most knowledgeable enthusiasts know this and just put up with it and dont go doing laps or driving around at stupid times in blatantly obvious places to get defected

Agreed, Matt.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

I don't deny that.

But basically if you want zero hassles with the police, don't modify your car illegally. Taking risks and what not is a different matter altogether and comes down to the individual. Staying away from such places and between certain times obviously lowers that risk, but doesn't remove it.

I'll disagree with that - it's not always the modifications they are trying to stop, but it is almost always the behaviour.

Just look at well organised events - I've been to a few Downshift & Mega meets (some with 1000+ cars) and Police generally stay away and leave everyone alone. Unless someone does a burnout and 5 Police cars turn up pretty quick. Then it's a balancing act of what happens next. :)
